Parish Council agenda for an extraordinary meeting on
Thursday 8 August 2024
Village Hall at 7pm
Please note that this meeting has been convened to co-opt a new Councillor prior to the main September meeting. Normal agenda items eg approval of June minutes will take place in September.
This meeting will be followed at 7.30pm by the scheduled Wind Turbine Committee meeting, to which all are invited to attend.
There will, however, be a brief opportunity for public contributions before the Parish Council agenda commences, which will be restricted to 5 minutes in total. Public participation within the agenda is at the discretion of the Chair.
1. Apologies
2. Co-options and vacancies - an application has been received from Kevin Kade of Little Carlton. A resignation letter has been received from Councillor Carole Mawer from Little Carlton.
3. To review and approve the newsletter/ questionnaire to be sent to all households – sent to Councillors as pre reading material. Method of distribution to be confirmed.
4. Wind Turbine Fund matters - To approve the PC application for the purchase of new defibrillators as the purchase of replacement batteries approved in June has proven not to be a valid option.
