Minutes for the Annual Parish Council Meeting held on
Thursday 14 May 2026 at Great Carlton Village Hall
Present: Cllrs P Hill, K Kade, A Seigneury, T Hesketh, J Morrison, and P Bennett.
Parish Clerk: Mrs S Bristow
The current Chair, Cllr P Hill, opened the meeting at 19:46 with 2 Members of the Public present.
1. Election of a Chairperson for the 2025/26 Civic Year: Cllr Kevin Kade was elected to the Chair and signed the Declaration of Office.
2. Election of a Vice-Chair for the 2025/26 Civic Year: Cllr Peter Hill was elected to the Vice-Chair role and signed the Declaration of Office.
3. Confirmation of Council Representatives on the Wind Turbine Committee: Confirmed as Cllrs Hill, Kade, Bennett, and Seigneury.
4. Confirmation of Finance Committee members (bank signatories): Cllrs Seigneury and White confirmed; Cllr Kade will be added to the signatory list as the new Chairman and form a part of the committee.
5. Confirmation of Human Resource Committee members: Cllrs White, Bennett, and Hesketh agreed to form this committee.
The meeting was closed at 19:55.
