DRAFT Minutes of the Wind Turbine Community Fund Management meeting held on Thursday 13 February 2025 7pm in Village Hall
Present: Cllr P Hill (Chair), Cllr A Seigneury, Mrs Branda Hanvy, Mrs Judy Pike

The meeting opened at 19:10
1. Apologies: apologies were received from Mrs Helen Locking
1A. (was Agenda item 4) It was noted that two Little Carlton Councillors were required to make up the committee minimums regarding Parish Councillor representation.
2. Election of Vice Chair: Cllr K Kade was elected as Vice Chair and will sit as a representative of Little Carlton, this leaving one Councillor vacancy for that village.
3. Finance report, including bank reconciled funds:
The total across the three Turbine accounts totalled £91753.53. The process of adding the new Clerk to the Turbine accounts will begin immediately.
5. Annual governance review: No changes.
6. Progress report on existing grants: it was noted that the £200 per dwelling winter payment was still expected and a discussion ensued about finalising the leaflet for households and getting them distributed. Mrs J Pike’s residence would take in the applications and pass them to the Clerk to process payments. Members of the public were assured that their bank details would be destroyed once the payment had been made. It is understood some 123 dwellings are eligible as it is only open to those who reside full time in the villages and is limited to one grant per dwelling, not per person.
7. Grant applications:
• Parish Council general (£5000) – Approved
• Sir Edward Smith’s Trust (£2400) – Approved, noting Cllr A Seigneury declared an interest and did not vote.
8. Date of next meeting was set as Thursday 14 August 2025, and the meeting was adjourned at 20:15.
